Committee Overview

Our section is driven by dedicated committees that focus on key areas of impact within the community. These committees work together to advance NCNW’s mission of empowering women of African descent, their families, and communities through leadership, advocacy, and service.

By joining a committee, members have the opportunity to contribute their skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re passionate about education, health equity, economic empowerment, or community service, there’s a place for you to make an impact.

We have two types of committees:
🔹 Standing Committees – These operate year-round and focus on the core functions and ongoing initiatives of the section.
🔹 Special (Ad Hoc) Committees – These are created for specific short-term initiatives or projects.
