The Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) cordially invites you to an elegant morning of sisterhood and inspiration. Now in its eleventh year, this signature brunch offers a unique space for mothers, daughters, and mentors to celebrate their shared bonds while reflecting on the values of grace and gratitude.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker

We are honored to present Rev. Sylvia Christine Hooker, a powerhouse leader whose life’s work spans education, music, and ministry. As a former Deputy Superintendent of School Turnaround, she successfully led a $126 million initiative to transform Georgia’s educational landscape. Beyond her administrative excellence, Rev. Hooker is a lifelong Minister of Music and a recently ordained Elder in the AME Zion Church. Her message promises to empower every woman in attendance to lead with a "Mind to Work".
