Elevating Our Community: A Preview of the 4th Annual Taste of NCNW & Business Showcase

The Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is proud to announce the return of our signature culinary and entrepreneurial event: the 4th Annual Taste of NCNW & Business Showcase.

For over a decade, our section has worked to lead, advocate for, and empower women of African descent and their communities. This showcase is a direct reflection of that mission, providing a premier platform for our local NCNW chefs, small business owners, and community partners to shine.

Join Us for an Evening of Excellence

We invite you to experience the vibrant talent and entrepreneurial spirit that defines our region. The Magnolia Room will be transformed into a lively marketplace featuring diverse local participants and the high-energy sounds of a live DJ.

Ticketing and Admission

This showcase is open to the public and offers incredible value for guests looking to support local enterprise.

• General Admission: $5 (Includes 1 Drink Ticket and 1 Taste Ticket)

• Advance Purchase: Please note that General Admission is the only ticket type available for purchase ahead of time.

• Additional Tickets: For those wishing to sample more, supplemental drink and taste tickets will be available for purchase at the event only.

  • 1 drink ticket: $1

  • 1 taste ticket: $5

  • 3 taste tickets: $10

A Platform for Our Local Talent

Our showcase is designed to boost visibility for small businesses while fostering friendly competition. We are thrilled to host a variety of participants, from non-profit organizations to culinary experts.

A highlight of the evening will be our Cook-Off, where participants will compete for recognition and prizes, which will be awarded to the Top 2 Winners in each category.

Information for Participants and Vendors

To maintain a professional standard and ensure a successful event for all, we require participants to adhere to the following guidelines:

• Deadlines: All applications and full payments must be submitted no later than Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

• Advance Payment: To secure your space, all fees must be paid in advance. No payments will be accepted on the day of the event.

• Logistics: Vendor check-in and setup will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on February 26. NCNW will provide two chairs and paper products for Cook-Off participants, but vendors are responsible for their own tables, linens, and extension cords.
